Biodiversity Week 2025 has been and gone, time flies as usual. The glorious weather continued for the most part and we enjoyed bright sunny weather. Much needed rain arrived and the floral species in the Biosphere soaked up some much needed moisture. Meanwhile, indoors, the Kerry Biosphere and Kerry County Council teamed up to provide biodiversity themed information tables at libraries throughout the County.

Although just one library occurs within the Kerry Biosphere (Killarney) we were delighted to contribute to five libraries in the County, Castleisland, Dingle, Killarney, Killorglin, and Listowel.  The 'Nature Tables' were awash with information and interesting pieces representing the diverse life in Kerry from its coast to the uplands, wetlands and woodlands. The Kerry Biosphere wishes to extend thanks to Kerry County Council and the libraries for facilitating this worthwhile event to celebrate Kerry's biodiversity.
