Although fast approaching its 40th birthday it is only in the last 12 months that the Kerry Biosphere Reserve has had a dedicated officer to promote the actions in support of the UNESCO designation.

For the May session of our Tri- Biosphere Webinars we are back in Kerry and celebrating 'Life in the Uplands'! The MacGillycuddy Reeks are Irelands highest mountain range with the tallest peak Carrountooohil reaching 1,038.6metres high.
Following on from the success of previous webinars we are delighted to offer this Nature series tailored specifically for the primary school age group and are most suited to students from 3rd to 6th class. The webinars are scheduled for 9.30 am every Thursday in May beginning May 6th.
